About the Practice
 Dr. Jorge Casas-Ganem and Dr. Gerhard Maale welcome you and your family to our practice. We specialize in orthopaedic oncology, the specialty of medicine for the diagnosis and treatment of bone and soft tissue tumors. In addition, we treat osteomyelitis (bone infection) and complex reconstructions.
Our practice offers a unique approach to patients with musculoskeletal disease. We offer a thorough evaluation in a multidisciplinary setting. Current therapeutic strategies are shared amongst participants (radiologists, oncologists, internists, orthopaedists, infectious disease and plastic surgeons) at a weekly conference so that each patient is ensured a personal, state-of- the-art care plan that is reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis. This is a unique approach to patients with musculoskeletal disease. A team effort is utilized to better facilitate the return of the patient to a happier and healthier life. Through our comprehensive and unified approach many of our patients have gone on to lead disease-free lives.
